The principles of Inclusive Design

Pharmi embraces the principles of inclusive design in order to improve accessibility for all patients.

There are two ways to approach design that can solve challenges related to accessibility: Accessible Design and Inclusive Design.

Accessible Design is outcome-based and focuses on designing usable products specifically for people with a disability.

Inclusive Design is process-based and focuses on designing usable products for everyone.

In other words, Inclusive Design does not only focus on designing products for people with a permanent disability, but recognizes that exclusion can happen to everyone depending on the context.

Therefore, pharmi develops with inclusiveness. We want everybody to benefit fully from the solutions in our digital pharmacist and strive to integrate that perspective in the design of our applications. And we are proud to be supported by Microsoft in this matter.
